Mission Uprising Father/Son Retreats
This year SpringHill Indiana will be the location and host of the Mission Uprising father/child retreats. These retreats, both a father/son and father/daughter, are brought to the SpringHill facilities as fathers work to further build strong relationships with their children.

Sometimes as fathers we are unsure about how to engage in our sons' lives in meaningful ways. Coaching or watching their sports teams doesn't equal connection, and although there are lots of great things to do with your kids, finding a way to really touch their lives can be hard.
In the book, "Wild at Heart", John Eldredge says a boy derives his identity, his masculinity, and the answers to his deepest questions about himself from his father. On the other hand, God created Christian fathers for their roles - equipped each of us with a good heart that carries a very powerful presence in our sons' lives. Every father knows that this can be a double-edged sword, though, too. Think about your father. No matter how "good" or "bad" a parent he was, you looked up to him for love, guidance and encouragement. Father/Son? Camp is designed and structured to create a meaningful shared experience for you and your son(s). We are confident that this time spent together will help redefine your relationship.
This unique Mission:Uprising weekend will consist of lots of shared time with your son(s), just doing fun stuff together. Available activities include: zip line, rock climbing wall, fishing, trap and skeet, canoeing and paintball wars. We will have four very short teaching moments throughout the weekend as well. We want the boys to know that they have a heavenly Father who loves them as well. We guarantee you will walk away with a lifetime of memories.
